Are you on a University PGCE course or maybe a School Direct teacher training or SCITT programme? Maybe you’re taking a 3 year BA Hons course. Or you could just be stepping into your first classroom as an NQT. Well, #RRGoesToUni is just the day for ALL of you.
Join us for a meeting of like-minded, book-ish training and newly qualified PRIMARY teachers (and librarians), to discuss ways we can make reading rock for EVERY single pupil.
This event will be hosted by Liverpool John Moores University Education Faculty.
#RRGoesToUni Liverpool is set to be a really great day, full of all things reading. We are delighted to welcome our key note speakers: top authors Maz Evans and Andy Seed. Delegates will also choose three workshops from a fantastic selection of hosts: from using films to support reading comprehension with The Literacy Shed, to the delights of dialogic talk.
We also welcome a brilliant array of exhibitors, showcasing a variety of resources related to reading in primary schools. Add in a wallet-emptying book shop, lots of like-minded colleagues, and we think we’ve got a recipe for a rockin’ day!
